Our Process

Step One:

A client is identified by a social service agency or charitable organization as being in need of furniture. The agency or organization then refers the client to SVDP. The agency issues a voucher for the client.

Step Two:

The client contacts SVDP to set up an appointment for a home visit. (507) 676-5508

Step Three:

SVDP representative meets with the client.

Step Five:

Furnishing Hope will contact the client to schedule an appointment to shop for furniture.

Step Six:

At the scheduled time, the client brings the voucher and visits our warehouse facility and selects needed furniture items.

Step Seven:

Selected furniture items are transported to the client's home. For a small fee, we offer a delivery service if the client cannot transport the furniture on their own.
